Class sizes are limited to insure individual attention; register early. All supplies are included in the tuition for most classes. Supply list for Sewing I, II, III can be found here.
All new incoming students must pay a one-time only, non-refundable $25.00 enrollment fee to establish and maintain their academic record at the Academy. Enrollment fee is waived for students taking Sewing 101 only.
Students may register for classes by paying their enrollment fee (when appropriate) and then either;
1) by paying their tuition in full in advance,
2) by paying a $25.00 per class deposit.
A deposit must be made for each class. Deposits are non-refundable. The remainder of the class tuition is due in full at the time of the first class meeting. A class deposit may be transferred as a deposit to another different class provided space is available in the other class. Students requesting the transference of a deposit will not be given priority enrollemnt in a different class.
Students who have registered by paying their tuition in full in advance, and then wish to withdraw their registration must cancel their registration no later than seven (7) days before the first class meeting in order to receive a full refund. In no circumstances will a deposit be refunded.
The Academy reserves the right to cancel a class, or to modify or change a faculty assignment when necessary. Tuition refunds are given when the Academy cancels a class.
Registration for the Certificate Program additionally requires a letter of intent and an interview with the Provost.
