Many a talented fashion designer has started her/his career at New York Fashion Academy. The following is a listing of notable NYFA alumni and what they are up to today.
Structured silhouettes meet graceful draping to create what ERIN ROBY calls a Northwest Modern look. Her line emphasizes luxury fabrics and an edited, understated design aesthetic. Her flagship store located on Bainbridge Island opened in August 2013.
Malia is the owner and designer of LADY KONNYAKU, an independent, handmade clothing line that uses rare vintage materials to create Mod and Japanese street fashion-inspired clothing. Her designs have been featured in the Wing Luke Museum, many regional magazines, and on Art Zone with Nancy Guppy.
Liise Wyatt & Karly Orr
Seattle-based designers Liise Wyatt and Karly Orr are the talent behind WYATTORR, a line that balances timeless sophistication and urban style to cultivate distinctive designs for men and women.
Kimberlee is the owner of and designer for DECO MODISTE. Based in Seattle, WA, she produces classic, ready-to-wear items for the artist, the woman on the go, or the modern socialite.
Gwen is the owner of and designer for Seattle-based LEKKERLIFE CLOTHING, an independent clothing line that appeals to women who love vintage clothing, all things Dutch, and underground music and art.
ANNA D DESIGNS by Anna Dicklhuber, a Brazilian independent Mixed Media Artist, Fashion & Costume Designer who creates garments for women with strong attitude.
Tanya Min Jee Ellis

MOLLY GWENDOLYN designs lingerie and formal evening wear for the elegant, feminine, sophisticated woman. Each silhouette unites classic with contemporary, simplicity with complexity, and tradition with originality
JESICA MILTON designs are modern and minimalist with a feminine touch. Each of her pieces are designed and crafted in Jesicaís Seattle studio using fair trade labor.
Miyuki is the talent behind H77. She uses vintage Kimono silk from Japan to hand craft elegant, superior-quality couture corsets.
Bayana is a native of Mongolia where she currently lives and works as a designer for the well-known Mongolian fashion design firm, SHILMEL ZAGVAR.
Cheryl works in Portland, Oregon as an Apparel Project Manager for ADIDAS INTERNATIONAL.
DEMA is the owner of a San Francisco, California retail store featuring her
original designs of singular clothing for the modern woman.
Sharon is the owner of and designer for the West Seattle based company SHARON
MacTAVISH DESIGNS, LLC makers of fine custom clothing for real women.
Megan works in Los Angeles, California where she is Head Designer for the
line TULLE, sold in Nordstromís and other stores nation-wide.
Chris works in San Francisco, California as a designer of young menís wear for Levi Strauss & Company.
Sam St. Michael
Sam is the owner of SnM Underworld, a retail shop on Capital
Hill which features her own line called HOYDEN GEAR, as well
as, leather, latex and rubber apparel and accessories. Custom orders are welcome.
Andrea specializes in textile and garment restoration and preservation. She is also a curator and archivist for private wardrobe collections. She is currently pursuing advanced studies at the University of Washington in museum textile preservation and storage.
Ellis is the owner of CAMMERAY'S a custom design/alterations business established in 1989. Cammerayís caters to a private clientele that appreciates her high quality work.
Melissa J. Quinn
Melissa is the owner of and designer for FAERIE FINGERS
a design studio that creates and sells Japanese anime costumes and patterns.

Nicole currently designs, produces and markets a line of specialty bags available online at SCHWINKENDORF DESIGN.
