Welcome to the New York Fashion Academy!
The
New York Fashion Academy (NYFA) of Seattle, Washington presents one of the
most comprehensive, up-to-date and relevant fashion design curricula available
anywhere. Created in cooperation with business and industry, our program provides
the skills and expertise currently in high-demand. The curriculum is continually
updated to reflect the latest proven concepts, methods and practices in the
fashion industry today.
Students of all ages and abilities are welcome. No prior knowledge, ability or experience is required or presumed. Imaginative, creative beginning students are particularly encouraged!
The Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board certifies that the New York Fashion Academy is licensed as provided by the authority of Chapter 28C.10 Revised Code of Washington Private Vocational Schools Act.
NYFA is a locally owned and operated private fashion design school. The academy's mission is to promote creativity and imagination by teaching proven industy techniques, such as those used by New York's 7th Avenue garment district. NYFA student's awards document its success:

The New York Fashion Academy offers an 18-month Certificate Program in Design and Construction, providing structured training for students wishing to gain in-depth knowledge of fashion design.
